Each flowering tea is carefully handcrafted by tying tender green tea leaves around marigold and globe amaranth blossoms. When placed in hot water, the tightly bound leaves gradually unfurl, revealing a beautiful floral display. A visual treat that is as enjoyable to watch as it is to drink.

The art of flowering tea originated in China, where skilled tea artisans developed techniques for hand-binding tea leaves and flowers into intricate shapes.

As the tea blossoms, it produces a delicate golden-green infusion with a smooth, refreshing green tea character. Sweet, juicy peach notes are complemented by a mellow honey-like sweetness and gentle floral undertones, creating a wonderfully fruity and fragrant tea with a lingering sweet finish.

How to enjoy this tea

Steep one flowering tea ball in 400–600 ml of water at 85–90°C for approximately 4–5 minutes.
For best results:
1.    Place one flowering tea ball in a clear glass teapot or heat-resistant glass vessel.
2.    Gently pour hot water at 85–90°C over the tea ball, allowing plenty of room for the leaves to expand.
3.    Allow the tea to infuse for 4–5 minutes, watching as the green tea leaves gradually unfurl to reveal the colourful flowers within.
4.    Once fully bloomed, pour into cups and enjoy the smooth, fruity infusion.
5.    The same flowering tea ball can be infused up to 2–3 times, increasing the steeping time slightly for subsequent infusions.

Serving suggestion: Use a transparent glass teapot to fully appreciate the beautiful blooming process.
