A blend of traditional and scientifically proven ingredients to help aid healthy digestion

This tea is a blend of Peppermint and Spearmint which are both carminatives and muscle relaxants promoting smoother digestion. Peppermint also relieves muscle spasms and reduces inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract, making it particularly beneficial for those with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Blended with this is Slippery Elm Powder, a powerful demulcent which forms a protective layer in the gut, creating an environment conducive to the flourishing of beneficial microbes. Alongside are added prebiotic herbs Dandelion and Chicory Root which also contain inulin, a dietary fibre which can help with bowel movements. Ginger has also been added to help reduce inflammation and to help with nausea relief.

The blend when brewed yields a pale cloudy infusion producing a minty flavour accentuated by ginger and has calming earthy notes.

How to enjoy this tea

Steep 1 tsp per cup for 4-6 mins in 95-100° C water

You can also add a sweetener like honey if preferred
