English Breakfast – Decaffeinated – Black Tea – This well flavoured breakfast tea is produced using traditional orthodox methods and decaffeinated using the CO2 process which retains strength and flavour whilst extracting the caffeine. The infusion is dark reddish brown with a rich, malty flavour.

Unlike some other decaffeinated teas the CO2 method ensures that this decaffeinated English Breakfast tea retains a well-balanced strength and flavour. The CO2 decaffeination process involves using pressurized, heated carbon dioxide (CO2) as a solvent to extract caffeine from the tea leaves. This method preserves the flavour and health benefits of the tea because CO2 selectively removes caffeine without affecting other flavour molecules
