Produced on a fourth-generation estate nestled in the Kangra Valley, this amber oolong has the fresh, crisp character of a high mountain tea, with the distinctive honey and spice from nearby Darjeeling. Each leaf is hand-plucked on the Wah Tea Estate, set high amongst Palampur’s Dhauladhar Mountains. Lovingly managed by the Prakash family since the 1950s, the ‘Chaiwalas’, as they became known bring over a century of tea-growing expertise to every cup, ensuring the estate’s teas are carefully crafted for quality and flavour.
These twisted leaves produce a light, aromatic cup for any time of day. Unlike most oolongs, which get better as they’re reinfused, we think that this tea tastes best on first infusion.
