Mini Yunnan Tuocha Pu-Erh
These charming little Pu-erh nests are traditionally shaped by hand into compact, bowl-like pods. Made from the large-leaf Camellia assamica variety grown in Yunnan, the leaves are processed, steamed and carefully compressed to create the distinctive Tuocha shape.
The tea has a rich yet gentle character, with earthy, woody notes and a subtle sweetness. As it matures, Pu-erh develops greater depth, and these mini Tuocha offer the mellow, slightly musty aroma and flavour traditionally associated with aged Pu-erh. Their earthy character has even led to them being known as ‘Earth Tea’ in parts of China.
Each small nest can be infused several times, with the flavour evolving from one steeping to the next.
One pod makes approximately three cups of tea.
