Harney & Sons Tea Strainer – Silver Plated, Long Handle

For anyone who brews loose leaf tea in a pot, the Harney & Sons silver plated tea strainer with long handle catches stray leaves as you pour, so every cup comes out clean. It rests over the rim of your cup, and its silver finish looks at home in both an everyday kitchen and a formal tea service.

Why You’ll Love This Harney & Sons Strainer

• Clean cups from loose leaf tea: The mesh bowl holds back leaf fragments as tea flows from the spout, so they stay out of your cup.
• Long handle for easy pouring: The extended handle keeps your fingers away from the hot tea and steam.
• Fits many cups: It sits over standard teacups, everyday mugs and larger-rimmed cups.
• Built on brass: A brass base gives the strainer its strength, and the silver plating gives it a bright, polished finish. It is lead-free.
• Comes with a nest: This strainer is sold with its nest, a matching piece that completes the set.
• A thoughtful gift: The silver-plated look makes this Harney & Sons piece a good present for loose leaf tea drinkers or anyone building a classic tea service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Harney & Sons silver plated long-handle tea strainer fit different cup sizes?
Yes. It is designed to sit over most standard teacups as well as larger-rimmed mugs and cups. The long handle gives you room to hold it steady over different cup heights and shapes.

How should I clean the Harney & Sons silver plated long-handle tea strainer?
Rinse it under warm water right after use to clear leaves from the mesh. Hand washing with a mild soap is recommended. Dry it thoroughly to help prevent water spots on the silver finish.
