What is White Monkey Tea?
White Monkey Tea – also known as Bai Mao Hou and often called Fujian Monkey Picked – is one of the great teas of China. According to legend, it was originally picked from high-growing plants in such difficult cliff-edge locations that monkeys were trained to pluck the leaves. The rough, slightly fluffy leaf produces a light yellowish-green infusion with a mild cup and nuances of honey.
White Monkey Tea Caffeine Content
White Monkey Tea contains a low to moderate amount of caffeine, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a gentle pick-me-up without the strong effects of higher-caffeine teas.
White Monkey Tea Health Benefits
The tea is rich in antioxidants, which help protect the body from free radicals and support overall immune health. Additionally, its natural polyphenols have been associated with promoting heart health and aiding in digestion.
