Tea was first introduced to Tanzania by German settlers in 1904, with commercial cultivation beginning in 1926. As the industry grew, tea estates flourished across the country, including the renowned Luponde Estate.
Perfect for autumn, this is a warming, comforting cup with enough body to stand up to milk, ideal for crisp mornings, cosy afternoons and those first chilly evenings of the season.
Origin: Africa – Usumbara, Tanzania.
Grown: 6000 – 7000ft above sea level.
