For when you’d like a pot that tastes of somewhere. This is loose leaf from one garden, Makaibari, up in the Darjeeling hills, where the tea grows under the rainforest canopy. It’s lighter than a breakfast blend and a lot more interesting: gentle, floral and aromatic, with a finish that hangs about.
We’ve been buying from the same garden for over thirty years and we’re still not bored of it. Three minutes in the pot, no milk. A slice of lemon if you fancy it.
