Renowned and exquisite double-cream cheese, hailing from France.
Chaource cheese boasts a storied history, tracing its origins to the 14th century and deriving its name from a market town nestled within its region.
While it was initially marketed in its fresh state, it has evolved to become a favoured choice among connoisseurs, cherished for its rich and complex character and the distinctive bloom of its rind.
This delectable cheese falls into the “double cream” category, characterized by its sumptuous texture and a creamy, buttery flavour that carries a subtle undertone of mushrooms.
