For almost 100 years now, excellent teas have been produced in Mokalbari East. This tippy wiry, colourful second flush Assam tea can be enjoyed in one of two ways:
For a full bodied, robust tea brew for 4-5 mutes and enjoy malty aromas, with a robust spicy flavour and a slight creamy cocoa note. Strong and reviving. Add milk if desired.
Alternatively, try brewing twice, for one minute at a time – the first brew gives fruit aromas and soft sweet taste, the second brew becomes malty, with hints of rose, developing tannins and a clean slightly spicy refreshing aftertaste.
A genuine tea delicacy!
FTGFOP1 means Finest Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe 1, grade 1 being the highest grade of leaf within this tea classification.
