Yerba Mate CBSe Orange

A Refreshing Citrus-Infused Mate Experience

Discover the vibrant taste of CBSe Orange (Naranja), a unique blend that brings together premium Argentine yerba mate with a natural orange essence. Unlike traditional yerba mate, this infusion delivers a refreshing, fruity twist while maintaining the classic grassy and woody undertones. Whether you enjoy it hot or ice-cold as tereré, this mate offers a smooth, balanced, and invigorating drinking experience.

Why Choose CBSe Orange Yerba Mate?

Natural Orange Flavour – A distinct citrus taste, reminiscent of freshly squeezed orange juice when brewed hot and ripe orange slices when brewed cold.
Smooth & Well-Balanced – Less bitter than traditional yerba mate, making it an excellent choice for beginners and seasoned drinkers alike.
Versatile Brewing Options – Enjoy it warm and soothing or ice-cold and revitalising for the perfect summer tereré.
Medium-Bodied with Pleasant Texture – A slightly grainy texture in the first few sips enhances the orange juice-like experience.
Natural Energy Boost – Provides a gentle lift in focus and concentration, without the jittery effects of coffee.
Traditional Argentine Cut – Features medium-sized leaves, abundant stems (palos), and a higher dust content for a quicker infusion, ideal for cold brewing.

Aroma & Taste Profile

• Aroma – The scent of orange essence develops as the mate brews, releasing a delightful, fruity fragrance.
• Flavour – A smooth yet pronounced citrus-forward taste with mild grassy and woody undertones. The orange essence shines without being overly sweet, striking the perfect balance.
• Finish – When brewed hot, the mate leaves a hint of bitter orange zest on the palate. When brewed cold, it offers a clean, crisp citrus aftertaste that fades quickly, leaving a refreshing sensation.
• Texture – Medium-bodied with a subtle graininess that enhances the experience, making it feel like drinking orange juice with pulp when brewed cold.

How to Prepare CBSe Orange Yerba Mate

1. Fill your mate cup (gourd) ¾ full with yerba mate.
2. Tilt to one side, creating a hollow space.
3. Pour a small amount of lukewarm water to awaken the leaves.
4. Insert your bombilla (metal straw) and enjoy.
5. Refill with hot (60ºC) or cold water and ice for a refreshing tereré.

Short to Medium Cycle for Optimal Flavour

CBSe Orange has a short-to-medium flavour cycle, retaining its vibrant citrus notes for about half a litre of water before gradually fading. When brewed cold, the flavour lingers slightly longer but becomes milder over time.
