Dark Green Glazed Teapot

This teapot is made with high-firing coarse-grained clay and fired in a wooden kiln at high-firing temperature. The teapot is unglazed inside and glaze outside with uneven dark green colour and slight red shades. It is incredibly durable after firing, with little to no absorption. 

This teapot can be used for brewing any types of tea, particularly good for roasted oolongs such as Traditional Tie Guan Yin, Wu Yi Rock Tea and Phoenix Dan Cong.  Because the clay is coarse-grained clay with no glaze inside the pot, it would absorb small amount of the tea’s flavour, I would suggest to only brew tea with similar flavour profile.
