The tea is sourced from Sri Lanka’s renowned Uva tea-growing region in the southeast of the country. With its high-altitude estates, cool temperatures and generous rainfall, Uva provides ideal conditions for producing teas with distinctive aromas and flavours.

At the heart of this blend is Uva gunpowder green tea. The leaves are carefully rolled into small, tightly formed pellets, which gradually open as they steep, releasing their characteristic rich and gently smoky flavour.

Earl Grey has a long history dating back to the 19th century. Traditionally made with black tea scented with bergamot oil, it takes its name from British Prime Minister Charles Grey. This green tea interpretation keeps the familiar citrus character of Earl Grey while pairing it with the lighter, more delicate profile of green tea.
