French Toast

Breakfast that earns its place at the table.

• Flavour — rich black tea with warm cinnamon, sweet vanilla and a dusting of sugar; jasmine buds add a delicate floral lift that stops it tipping into pure indulgence — complex, warming and completely moreish
• Cinnamon Pieces — responsible for that warm, sweet spice; it pairs with black tea tannins in the same way cinnamon pairs with egg and butter
• Jasmine Buds — an unexpected but essential ingredient; the floral note cuts through the sweetness and adds a sophistication that makes this far more than a novelty tea
• Cloves — eugenol, the active compound in cloves, adds a deep, slightly peppery warmth that anchors the cinnamon and vanilla without overpowering them
• Try it with condensed milk — steep strong, add a splash of condensed milk and thank us later
