Introducing Ichibancha Uji Houjicha Powder—recognizable because it’s the same houjicha we custom roast exclusively from first flush (Ichibancha) leaves. Unlike most blends that combine multiple harvests with only a fraction of Ichibancha, this careful selection highlights the superior quality of the first flush for a refined and authentic taste.

The use of premium leaves yields a pronounced aroma, natural sweetness, and a rich, full-bodied flavor. Grinding the leaves into powder intensifies these traits and highlights any imperfections in quality or processing. Shelf Life:

Our freshly milled Houjicha Powder is hermetically sealed in bags and can be stored for up to one to two years. However, after opening, it should be consumed within 2-3 months for optimal freshness. Houjicha Powder is stable at room temperature and does not need to be sifted before mixing.
