Smooth tea with light floral aroma and a sweet malty fruity flavour underpinned by subtle smoky notes. The brew is a beautiful rich red-brown typical of the traditional congou leaf grown in Anhui province.
Our Keemun Anhui is flexible friend, it can be brewed long and strong and taken with milk, or in short bursts over multiple brews and enjoyed plain.
Designated as one of the “China Famous Teas” first produced in 1875 by a civil servant, Yu Ganchen, after he travelled to Fujian province to learn the secrets of black tea production. Until then, only green tea was made in Anhui.
