Quanzhou Milk Oolong has a silky texture, soft floral lift and gentle caramel-like sweetness. It is rounded and creamy in the cup, but the current ingredient declaration lists only oolong tea—not milk, sugar or added flavouring.
Creamy • Floral • Mellow
What tea is it?
The current label names oolong tea (Ti Kuan Yin Super). It does not identify this tea as Taiwanese Jin Xuan, so we do not present it as that cultivar. The Porter Hill record places it in China; garden, harvest, oxidation and roasting details are not currently available.
Who will enjoy it?
Choose it if you want a soft, aromatic oolong rather than a brisk black tea or a strongly roasted cup. The rounded texture and floral-caramel suggestion are most apparent without milk.
Brewing guide
- Amount: 1 teaspoon per cup
- Water: 85°C
- Time: 2 minutes
Drain the leaves fully and taste before adjusting. Add a little more leaf or another 30 seconds next time for extra body. The rolled leaves are worth a second infusion; use fresh 85°C water and extend the time slightly if needed.
Milk, flavouring and allergens
Milk and added flavouring are not listed in the current ingredient declaration. That is not a substitute for the pouch label: anyone choosing around a serious allergy should check the pack they receive and ask us if they need confirmation. This oolong contains natural caffeine.
Read the Quanzhou Milk Oolong guide for the difference between this Ti Kuan Yin-labelled tea, Taiwanese Jin Xuan and flavoured milk oolong, plus detailed brewing adjustments.
Storage
Keep it sealed, cool and dry, away from heat, sunlight and strong aromas.
