This is an entry-level ceremonial grade matcha meant for usucha or “thin tea.” It delivers a smooth, bold cup for casual drinking. Sold in a 50-gram pouch.
Harvested May 2025 in Nishio, Aichi prefecture, Japan. It is made from the Yabukita cultivar.
This tea was formerly called “Matcha Chiyo-no-shiro.”
